There's a whole lot of us in the socially liberal conservative foreign policy camp. Some of us are in parties (Republican, Libertarian) and some not.

I hardly think that being willing to party in TJ makes one a social liberal. A hedonist, maybe ... but doesn't have anything to do with liberal or conservative, blah blah blah.
Advocating some form of Plessy standard for gay marriage doesn't make one a social liberal, either ... although I'm sure it passes for such in some circles.
Board personality or not, there is more than enough unadultered Anne Coulter that comes out in Mike's posts to indicate that he is not a social liberal.
Anyone who professes to not understand the distinction between liberalism and communism is not a social liberal.
But that's just my opinion. Whatever makes you feel better.
