The stations in question are self-censoring because they FEAR the results, not because of any direct ruling. The Labels that the PMRC had a clear hand in create were good things, not used to censor but used to inform parents and allow them to make decisions as to what their children will see. In the same manner, ratings and such on TV and movies allow parents to make educated decisions.
In this case, those parents will not get to make an educated decision because of the way the FCC is viewed - not as regulator but as a bully looking for the next pound of flesh.
