I did not say that leftists are never violent, nor did I say that the American left has never committed acts of violence. However, an objective look at American history over the last 20 years will show far more violent activities on the part of the right than the left.
You left off, by the way, the more relevant activities of the punks at WTO meetings ... of course, you're too stuck in the mental midget rut of equating liberalism with communism to think of that.

Modern liberalism has direct connections with socialism/communism.
Through out history the left in the US supported Lenin/Stalin, and other communist regimes. There were many leaders in the left who acively supported and excused socialist regimes - especially in the USSR.
