feel religion is a tool for the evil to corrupt the uneducated and poor
feel that "god bless you" when I sneeze is more insulting than "go fiuck yourself" when I prove a point
am anti-death penalty unless it's an extreme case (being a poor, black man who's only eye witness to the crime was an old white woman is NOT extreme)
feel a society is stronger when it takes care of it's poor (giving them $200 per month in foodstamps and letting them live in cockroach infested slum buildings is NOT taking care of them when that same money could be spent educating them or forcing fathers to actually pay child support for their fucking kids instead of forcing a single mother to do it alone)
I think cops are generally good men and women who deserve resecpt but should break the bullshit "code of silence" when their fellow officers are scumbags who enjoy shaking down prostitutes
I think our soldiers are brave men and women but that doesn't mean I have to agree with every war they are thrown into
I think the Iraq war was wrong and there were bigger issues than Sadam's supposed WMD's (actually, maybe he should have them, because, didn't we sell some to him during the Reagan years??)
I think the fact Bin Laden is alive and still has the ability to make videotapes is more than enough reason to not have re-elected George W Bush
I'm proud to be an American and don't think pride in your country is a bad thing
I think that pinhead judge in bumfuck bilbebelt should be able to keep the statue of the Ten Commandment outside his building, but he'd better let me erect a statue of Bill Hicks and/or Bruce Campbell across the street
