Hoping there's a larger strategy is a bit on the "faith" side. I'm too much of a cynic when it comes to politicians and this administration has spun enough BS about their entire fuckups so as to not really leave much room for "faith" in their strategy or judgements. It's comical to watch dynamic dickwads flat out contradict even their own administration's reports.
At this point, a chipmunk would be preferable.
