Wow all those SEC teams are below OU and all but 1 is below Texas
Grimm, can you maybe speak up here? since you know so much about college football, would OU lose to 8 SEC teams?

NCAA Football Power Rankings
Rank LW Team

1 1 Oklahoma Sooners (2-0)
Was that really Jason White, he of two reconstructed knees, scrambling for one first down after another against Houston? Yep, Mr. Heisman finally has some of his old mobility back, which means he's no longer a sitting duck for blitzes.
Next game: Saturday vs. Oregon.

2 2 USC Trojans (2-0)
Too many young receivers keeping your passing game down? No problem, just hand it off to two of the most talented runners in the country. LenDale White and Reggie Bush combined for 207 yards in Saturday's rout of Colorado State.
Next game: Saturday at BYU.

3 3 Georgia Bulldogs (2-0)
Will the injury bug ever leave this team alone? First it was LB Tony Taylor. Now it's RB Danny Ware who's hurt. The Bulldogs are so deep, though, that Tyson Browning was able to step up in the backfield against South Carolina, and fill-in LB Jarvis Jackson had a monster game.
Next game: Saturday vs. Marshall.

4 4 Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes (1-0)
I didn't believe the talk that this 'Canes defense could be better than last season's. But, through one game at least, it's hard to disagree. The line is tremendous, as is the secondary. CB Antrel Rolle may be the most talented player in the country.
Next game: Saturday vs. Louisiana Tech.

5 5 Texas Longhorns (2-0)
The 'Horns are doing exactly what they were hoping to do on offense. RB Cedric Benson has been a machine, but the play of QB Vince Young, who seems much more confident in passing situations, has been just as encouraging.
Next game: Sept. 25 vs. Rice.

6 7 LSU Tigers (2-0)
Marcus Randall and JaMarcus Russell saw nearly equal time at QB and were equally effective against Arkansas State, which means the Tigers' QB controversy will continue heading into a huge game against Auburn.
Next game: Saturday at Auburn.

7 -- Purdue Boilermakers (2-0)
QB Kyle Orton has been sensational, but the Boilermakers' defense has been nothing short of a revelation. Despite having seven starters drafted last April, Purdue has held both of its first two opponents below 200 yards of offense.
Next game: Sept. 25 at Illinois.

8 9 Ohio St. Buckeyes (2-0)
The Buckeyes' latest last-second miracle may have seemed status quo, but this team is getting it done a different way. QB Justin Zwick is much more of a big-play passer than Craig Krenzel. Unfortunately, Zwick also is making more mistakes.
Next game: Saturday at N.C. State.

9 6 Florida St. Seminoles (0-1)
Almost everything about the 'Noles is as advertised. The defense, led by LB A.J. Nicholson, is tremendous. RB Lorenzo Booker is the real deal. The only thing holding this team back is its quarterback -- and its play-calling.
Next game: Saturday vs. UAB.

10 8 Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-0)
Hmm ... that rout of Toledo doesn't seem quite so impressive after Kansas did the same thing Saturday. And the Gophers weren't exactly overwhelming in beating Illinois State 37-21. But remember, Minnesota doesn't have to face Purdue or Ohio State.
Next game: Saturday at Colorado State.

11 11 West Virginia Mountaineers (2-0)
Not the best week for Kay-Jay Harris to go down with a hamstring injury -- not when you're about to face a team that beat you 34-7 and 41-7 last season. To say this is the biggest game of the Rich Rodriguez era would be an understatement.
Next game: Saturday vs. Maryland.

12 13 Virginia Cavaliers (2-0)
The Cavs continue to fly under the radar by beating up on the likes of Temple and North Carolina, but if I were Miami or Florida State, they'd have my attention. QB Marques Hagans, the season's biggest question mark coming in, has been solid.
Next game: Saturday vs. Akron.

13 16 California Golden Bears (2-0)
Can Oct. 9 hurry up and get here already? Oh, how badly we want to see the matchup of Cal's ultra-balanced Aaron Rodgers/J.J. Arrington offense against USC's dominant defense. First, they'll have to endure a 20-day layoff after Thursday's game at Southern Miss was postponed.
Next game: Oct. 2 at Oregon State.

14 14 Florida Gators (1-0)
Hard to read much into the Gators' weird, delayed opener. QB Chris Leak and the receivers looked good, as did the defense, but they were facing Eastern Michigan. We'll find out everything we need to know about Florida, though, on Saturday.
Next game: Saturday at Tennessee.

15 -- Utah Utes (2-0)
The Utes seem to have a bend-but-don't-break mentality on defense. Arizona was able to move the ball on them, but finished with just six points. Utah's defense has allowed just 30 points in its last 18 quarters, dating to last season.
Next game: Saturday at Utah State.

16 -- Fresno St. Bulldogs (2-0)
Saturday's 45-21 upset of Kansas State wasn't all peaches and cream; the Bulldogs lost 1,000-yard rusher Dwayne Wright for the season with a knee injury. Fortunately they have a backup, Bryson Sumlin, who may be just as good.
Next game: Saturday vs. Portland State.
Again, those rankings mean not shit. Oklahoma and Texas were both ranked in the top 5 most of last year and they got mauled when they played decent teams.

Fuck you and fuck the Pussy 12.
