they are referred to as rebels by Russia. it's their term. these are the same people who have been fighting for an independent Chechen State since 1994. i would comment further, but i am sure you have had some time to reflect and realized already how ignorant it was to suggest that it is not in the US interest to refer to those who use terrorism as terrorists.
