If the purpose is business/networking, then I like almost any kind of music, however I find it hard to do business, if music is extremely loud/annoying - I do not need a sound proof room to do business/networking from, just music which is relaxing for both the brain and ears (meaning music sound level at low to moderate), and lights/surroundings/atmosphere where the body can relax (no packed area with strobe lights, and smoke) - sure its ok to have something which draws people to the place and makes it memorable/stand out, but it should be a single timed event, which is relaxing before and after, not a 4 hour nonstop headbanging mania.
Now, if the main purpose is not business, but to party, then I will be with the "old folks" sipping water at the Hotel - waiting for the employees to return, so I can tuck them into bed and kiss them goodnight... and btw. I´m a "young guy", just think there is a place and time to do business, and another place and time to party... and if I was there, then I would be there for the business
