If you have never sucked your coffee through a Tim Tam with the ends bitten off you have missed one of the great culinary experiences of life.
Now it MIGHT sound disgusting, and I'm damn sure it LOOKS disgusting, but the experience is DEVINE !!
For the uninitiated, and the non-Aussies....
A Tim Tam is a layer of chocolate with biscuit on either side enveloped in a thick coating layer of chocolate.
If you bite the ends off, it exposes the middle layer of chocolate and the outside layers of biscuit...
Placing one end slightly into your coffee (hotter the better), place the other end in your mouth and suck the coffee through the biscuit.
The chocolate melts into your mouth, and then you eat the gooey mess that remains.
Like I said, disgusting, but devine.
