It wouldn't be my little boy. I never had a loaded gun in the house AND he was taught how to shoot and gun safety when he was little - just as my brother and I were.
In fact, my brother and I were discussing this the other day - my grandfather ALWAYS had a loaded gun in his nightstand and one in his glove compartment. We never even DREAMED of opening either, let alone opening them and picking up the gun.
