I suppose my statement that its not that hard to abide by the WC3 standards of html don't really hold up unless you are coding the entire site in scratch anyway. Although I will talk about horror stories of html pages being megs in size just because of careless dreamweaver usage where the person had hundreds and hundreds of empty font tags ... funny stuff right there.

What does WC3 have to do with running a business?!
NOTHING!
The point is that nobody notices that your code is perfect except for that 5% who otherwise might have seen some misaligned graphics or a stylesheet not working right ... all that extra effort you've put in over the years, even if its only 20% more time to do it that way, adds up to a LOT of wasted hours for yourself and/or your employer/s ...
Yug, I've used dreamweaver for 2+ years now, and probably designed on average of 2 sites per week .... NOT A SINGLE html page was 'megs', even before i cleaned up the extra font tags ... that's one of those exaggerated horror stories used to justify hanging onto standards that have long been thrown out by most business people.
It comes down to this ... do you want to make money and be able to spend it and enjoy it, or perfect code which nobody appreciates but a few fellow geeks?
