The processors seem to be scrubbing a bit harder too
we use a cascading billing system and have steered a majority of our sales through epoch as ccbill just seems to be scrubbing harder. We've also seen a mini-spike in web900 sales (really, they are only about 1% of sales normally, but now it's been closer to 2%) and we've just added/are still adding a couple more billing solutions and seeing a few extra % here and there and once they are fully implemented, hope to see this save a handful of sales we'd normally have lost.
We've also been working harder on retaining members since actual acquisition is a little tougher (especially for a new program that isn't dazzling affiliates with promises of high signups and pictures of ferarri's, etc. or other fancy, shiny objects). We're adding extra levels of interactivity to keep members busy and wanting to come back instead of just forgetting to cancel. We're also looking to spin off some of our more popular models onto their own single girl websites and increase the awareness of our girls. We're already seeing more SE traffic searching for our sites (still not sure why a surfer would search for "busty amateur boobs" instead of just typing in the dotcom).
It's going to take a little more creativity in this industry to draw the attention of surfers. In this day and age of TGP surfers used to fresh, new content everyday, exclsuive content will be more important than ever before.
We're also looking into DRM and playing games with the P2P crowd. and well as looking at "portable porn" (cell phones, PDA's, etc.)
