Now obviously that is a stupid request.
However I agree with there assessment of the law . so we should charge him with murder or something for the troops that are lost, bring him here and try him using the law our sytem so graetly values. (and rightly so)
He still gets the death penalty, we conform to our own laws as well as international ones thereby saving face. ( no bravado necassary, the result of saddams fate is moot at that point) and allow us the best exit from a PR nightmare of the Abuse ordeal.
I also believe it would be best to honor the IRC request to know more about the health and well being of the other Abu Garib prisoners.
If GW is gonna stand up and pronounce that we live by law, to us, the world, and most importantly a nation he is trying to build under the color of the authority of law... he damn well better start leading by example, instead of only by rhetoric!
