Serge ... I guess I missed your point, and you are sure as hell avoiding mine. I know the Nazis (just because of Mike's response) and suspect the Commies would have enjoyed Moore's film, assuming that most of what I'm hearing about it is true.
The simple fact of the matter is, suppressing this film in the rather clumsy way they've gone about it has overtones of Nazi/Commie behavior all its own.
I still think that if the film Disney refused to release was an Oliver North production of an Ann Coulter script, Alex would be defending them, Mike would be reciting the "biasedliberalmedia" mantra, and Vick would be posting that it's all futile and we should all go kill ourselves.

PD you are barking up the wrong tree. I think every movie should be allowed to be released in the US. I have no idea what Disney was trying to do. ( I suspect they were covering their asses because what plays big in Cannes does not play well to middle America)
The movie could be released in every theate in the US and I would not have a problem with it.
But I reserve the right to make fun of it, and make fun of those who think Moore movies are documentaries.
