And i'm sure cutting the hands off of a petty thief in New York would deter would be pick pockets, but that doesn't make it right, does it? Engage brain?
A clear-thinking person would realize that things like this only generate more anti american sentiment amongst Iraqis and Arabs across the middle east. It'll just create more "honor" seekers.
It was just wrong. It shouldn't have happened.
