PD,
don't sweat the MikeAI "factor" daily show
I don't care if someone served or didn't serve. We are all = americans in my book.
For those that served, Whether you were drafted or volunterred, makes no diff. to me either, you are a patriot.
Kerry, come on, as far as Vietnam goes we should all sulute him, just as I would to Sen. Mccain. He got out of Yale and Joined up, did '2' tours, gotta give him a little kudos for that. Forget about the reason or speculation why someone might have wanted to join up, he did, he served, he was brave, end of story..
I truly think he was a real hero, a person that can go up against enemy fire and then come back from the war and Protest is a true american. He fought for our "rights", and came back and used those same 1rst ammed. rights.
While alot of americans avoided Vietnam, Bush, Clinton, etc I have no ill feelings, might have been me too, you never know.
PD, Buff, Dan, thanks for serving!!!! '3' yrs was good enough for me, I sure met alot of friends and brothers when I was in.
Btw Mike, Carter was top of his class, and a Nuc. Sub guy, very smart fellow
