I am unconvinced Kerry's wounds were deserving of Purple Hearts. That being said, he's hardly the only person with questionable medals. JFK should have been court martialed, not awarded medals for his PT boat disaster. In Grenada, more medals were awarded than there were soldiers who participated.

That being said, I would not call Kerry a pussy. He may well have deserved all his medals. I do not approve of his conduct after his return to the states, but in no way do I think he acted dishonorably in combat. He fought, he chased down the enemy, and he killed the enemy. That's more than we can say for Bush or most people in government.
