It is difficult to know when someone who boasts about an 86 Camaro and cannot stress enough the importance he places on a tan on "his girl" (even at the risk of pregnancy) is kidding.
Don't dispute that getting married at 19 was dumb - but part of my reasoning was that I "liked her enough to not opt for abortion" (and an abortion wasn't even legal yet, thus a wee bit harder to get). What exactly the stupidity of that decision made 31 years ago has to do with anything contemporary escapes me. You may want to look at it this way - I too used to think in some pretty irrational, immature ways - as I said, not substantially different than the superficiality you are expressing here.
The "drove a woman to lesbianism" comment is quite possibly the stupidest thing I have read off your keyboard - and that is saying quite a bit. Even at my most egotistical I have never given myself credit for that much power.
Besides ... the two and a half years between the time she "came out of the closet" and she and the girlfriend decided not to accompany me to San Diego were more than worth whatever contempt your feeble little brain can muster up.
