When I was going thru school, and I am a few years older then Meni, the loss of corporal punishment was the last straw that broke the camels back.
When the schools were not allowed to remove the negative influences, i.e. drug dealers, scum bags who didn't wish to learn and were thrown into the schoool system by uncaring mothers and fathers of third world countries, i.e. fucking Mexico, to babysit them because their parents couldn't be bothered, as well as the supposedly upper-class, who are no less resposnsible, that is when shit hit the fan.
Meni, you have offered NO solution. You continuously blame Bush when he has come in at the tail end of the problem. You need fucking help. Clinton was a fucking joke and he was a democrat. Regan and Bush Sr. were a fucking joke. They ALL contributed to the downfall of the American education system, as well as many other things.

I have a 16 year old that has come up thru the same school system as I had and what it is today is fucking insane. I wouldn't wish it on anyones kids, and yet here it is. It's not the fault of Bush.
