Netpond is still there. Meat and Aga are still there. Jayman, Bree... they're still there. It's STILL Netpond. It's STILL offering up a ton of resources to anyone who needs them, good information, help for newbies, and especially - message boards for community and networking.
The old gorilla isn't dead. He simply upgraded, and this sentimental crap is just that... crap.
If you guys were truly so damn sentimental about Netpond and it was SO important to you, you'd still be there posting and they wouldn't have to close that board down, now would they?

From your own mouth, don't assume to think you know what we feel.
You don't understand, fair enough. No one here faults you for it.
Those of us who do understand, share the kinship that was the Main Board that was Netpond. Not the spam riddled sham of what it used to be.
Your credentials at Netpond really don't mean much. The fact that you don't understand the difference of the board when we populated it, and how it is now, shows the difference between those of us who made our bones on it, and those who simply came after to pick up the crumbs.
It will never be what it was. I wish Meat and Aga the best with their new venture.
Since I spent 4 months doing the paperwork for the sale to go through between Nickatilynx and Aga and Meat. and the 2 years I ran it, 1 year of running the Newbie board, it is near and dear to me . But that was then, this is now.
