MB is really the best way to accomplish that finished film effect that you cannot get anywhere else. "Coloring" of a film (think Underworld, The Crow, The Matrix series) is an important part of communicating the entire story. It is even more important now as more film makers are moving over to high end video to shoot on rather than 35mm film for issues of cost and speed of digitization. Almost all modern films have some sort of ILM work done on them.

Hi Alex, I have been working with Adobe Premier Pro for the past 2 weeks and I am sold. I only have the trial version right now but I will be purchasing this program for use at my home 'office' as soon as possible. The goal is by this time next year to have
Adobe Premier Pro
Adobe After Effects
Adobe Encore
and saving up for Magic Bullet.
Someone on another board told me that if Vegas was confusing to me I might as well forget about Premier Pro, well, that was a statement they shouldn't have made. I still can't do a thing with Vegas, but premier has become quite comfortable for me and I am stunned, seriously stunned with the kind of subtle changes I can make to even the simplest of vids to improve their overall 'feel'
I know there are a lot of Vegas fans here but for my dollar, the combination of programs I just laid out above will be able to produce some seriously good videos.
Now if I could just convince everyone to pay more attention to their lighting and framing I would be in heaven LOL
