Gas went from .32 per gallon in the early seventies to 1.00+ per gallon by the end of the decade -
- remember the gas lines, spiraling inflation, mortgage interest rates in the teens?

Don't have the exact figures but that is when many households became dual income with both spouses working to maintian lifestyles - which leads to another can of worms

OIL IS WHAT'S IMPORTANT!!

OPEC will be meeting in April (I believe)and is looking at cutting back production

We could be looking at gas prices and high as 2.80 per gallon this summer in some areas

Fuck that, let's get Iraq on it's feet and demand they sell us oil below market prices, if not well.... we'll just have to take it and pay then what we feel like- not sorry
