not much harm she can do in a chat unless you are afraid of words
Now now, CJ. That's not even close to fair. It's never been a case of "afraid of words". Nor has it -- though Confucy would disagree -- ever been a case of censorship. And this wasn't just my opinion or during my show, as I said, just about every show.

Confucy has been booted out of *nearly* (until/unless Oprano does in the future, then it will be *every*) chat room because she's been, to put it mildly, a disruptive influence. When there's been a speaker on and everyone in the chatroom has real, substantive questions and a discussion on something, and an interest in the guest and/or the topic at hand, Confucy would be in there typing as fast as possible, and repeating over and over again railing about some totally different subject that no one in the room gave a damn about. And do it so much that people couldn't even continue to have normal conversations.

She would also tend to do make many liabelous and usually ungrounded charges (sometimes about the guest, sometimes against people or events no one was talking about at the time and who weren't in the room or even involved with the show whatsoever) and that that would usually infuriate guests, the host trying to do their jobs and field questions from the chat room, and often cause a total uproar from the audience in there.

In short, whoever was the host, the guest, the topic, and the reason people would come into that show to listen, she would come in with her own agenda and try to turn every show into the Confucy Show rallying against whatever windmill was in season that day.

Now, CJ, maybe you enjoy going to, oh, a ballet or something, and having someone in the middle of the show stand up with a banner and start screaming about proabortion or whatever their agenda might be, but in most places they will escort them out of the place rather than let it continue, and usually to the applause of the audience.
