yeah It's hard to beleive it's been that long uh. I still have great memories of him and his teams.......being a teenager and having the change to not only meet him but spend time with him and be on the sidelines of some great bama games while he was the coach was very special.
I flew home for his funeral and cried like he was my father or something. But I doubt there was a dry eye among the hundreds that were there or the thousands that line the roads and overpasses between here and B-ham where he's buried.
I'll never forget him and what he has done for the school,state and college football
