you tend to see what you expect to see. if you think that everyone is stupid, you will pick out and notice more often the information that supports that idea.
maybe 98% of people are not stupid and you are stupid for incorrectly believing that you are in the upper 2% of humanity and choose to "go through the motions" thinking as such?
