I say give the guy a chance at least. You never know, he might turn out to be great to work with and/or have a penis that would put Ron to shame. Just because someone is willing to shoot doesn't mean you've gotta shoot 'em.
If someone shows up for a cattle call or whatever that you do not wanna shoot for any reason whatsoever, just politely and professionally tell them "you're not what we're looking for at the current time".
Sure, there's a market for just about anything. But for my purposes at least, we do not spend the time or money to shoot anything that we do not personally know how to market. You dont have to hurt anyone's feelings or be harsh, but part of being a professional is handling rejection...on both sides.
