Forest, you should check your facts better before taking the word of that programmer
he's as shifty as you are ;-) hopefully you learn that the hard way!
you can respond with all the crap you like about who owns what, but ... explain how you are 'leasing' an entire website product off a programmer (don't they write scripts & stuff?) which contains identical faq, support, etc information which was NOT written by this programmer?
in your haste to accuse someone else of being a thief to cover your own tracks, you forgot to look in detail at what a programmer would have written and what jp & viv would have written ... instead of jumping back at me with bullshit, just have a think about what i said for a second. if you are correct about the programmer owning the rights to the software, then all you have to do is change the parts of the site that aren't part of the software! are you capable of writing your own copy?
puhlease. bottom line, product isn't yours & you had opportunities to do the right thing and still make a buck. the way you are going, this project will end the way the rest of your projects have so I really couldn't care less. just sick of you taking credit for someone else's work.
and now, I will drop the subject - someone is going to drop by oprano who knows ALL the details & Forest can retaliate with his verbal runs to them instead!!

serge, just because the *2* people i have accused of being thieves happen to be your friends, doesn't make me wrong ;-) if you don't want these discussions on your board, just say so. i have almost as many people on my icq as you do reading your board
