This is an issue I beleive a lot of people have been thinking about, because it is going to be a reality for many people. Not necessarily on Jan 1st, but probbaly in 2004.

I am going to grow citrus and pecans on my land and set up a street vending operation! haha

Seriously, I am fortunate to have a few options. DirectNIC continues to grow exponentially, and there are some great opportunities there.

I also have a few other side businesses that if the time came open I could devote more to, and would make some nice $$.

In a pinch I could always go take the bar and practice law. Though it would have to be on my terms, or else I would be pretty misserable.... but the good thing about being an attorney is you get to pass your misery on to other people!
