Socialism and communism are 2 different things. The second we started any program that federally funded aid to our own people we became socialist.

Why is the left running with this ball all the time these days? The bill of rights and freedom of speech do apply and they are exercised every day. Nobody is going to jail or some re-education camps for speaking out against the administration.
The one thing that seems to be happening is that it's ok for someone to spew out anti-bush retoric....that's freedom of speech, but if someone else thinks that it is an unpatriotic thing to say and expresses THEIR opnion....then thats' ANTI freedom of speech? You can say whatever you want about what the goverment does or says, or what I do or say..... and I can do the exact same thing in regards to what you do or say. We ALL get the freedom of speech, including the people that support a different point of view from yours.
If I say something about harsh anti-business enviromental restrictions, and you call me a "stoog for big business and a mindless moron", then are YOU infringing on my freedom of speech? Of course not. It works the same way in any direction....whether you like it or not.
