True - my mother, the nurse, has strongly advised all us kids who have little ones (thankfully I'm not one of them
) to avoid antibacterial soaps.
And even though you said Purell, if you ARE using the actual soaps and you have a septic tank, be sure to take extra care (i.e. more Ridex or yeast) as the antibacterial soaps in the gray water will kill the "good" bacterial in your tank needed to break everything down.
