Windows 98 joins Windows 95 and 3.1 in the Microsoft graveyard next month. No more support, patch releases, etc.

Amazingingly, 20% of the world's computer users still use Windows 95 and Windows 98.

Expect to see MSFT stock rise as a result, with all these users being nudged now into upgrading to XP.
