EVERYONE who "believes" is fairly certain they will make money in their ideas - turned religion. Everyone who invests a lot of time, energy, emotion, money, planning, sweat and blood in something "believes" in it. The greater the sacrifice... the stronger the "belief".
how many billions were invested in dot bombs? how many billions were invested in the upcoming broadband revolution? High Definition TV?
i can go on.
"investment" does not necessarily equate to success.
i admit that what you are talking about has some novelty to it... it takes more than novelty to drive a business and make a profit.
