I was with the director of DDD.COM today - they wrote the software and own the patents...

There is a diffraction grating of black lines over a 1024 x 768 screen. 512 of the columns are sent to the left eye and 512 to the right - all at THE SAME TIME. There is no flicker - each eye gets a 512 x 768 picture at a full frame-rate - and no flicker at all - THIS is why this technology is revolutionary - it is simply stunning - having seen it myself (I bought one of the 1st products off the production line) I am changing all my businesses to envelope this 3D : )
