Thats the best advice anyone could give...
We used a pond filter to pull to water out of the tank to go through the various filtration processes (skimmer, UV, ozone)… it could move the whole tank contents in less than 30 minutes... plus the return was perfect for tidal effects
edit: there's no goddam 's' in 'filter'
