I think that football fans of all teams always feel there team was uninspired when they lose a big game. What separates great teams from very good ones is that they play inspired all the time. That was a HUGE game. If pollsters had dropped OK another spot or so they'd be out of the big dance.
One thing that stood out about this OK team to me throughout the season compared to other recent very good teams is that they were on every week.
Does it all matter if they win the Sugar Bowl? A championship is a championship. Agreed. Win and feel good. They are favorites. It's good to be king.
Yet still, OK can finish as champions but this team will not be mentioned along with great ones of the past. There is no best team this year. There are a group of very good teams that could take turns beating each other.
