Ok, I have been busy working on a bunch of mainstream crap lately and haven't found the time to keep up with my Oprano bretheren. I apologize for my absence.

I came to read the article because Big_S told me about earlier.

I am probably the biggest OU fan here. I seriously doubt if anyome can even come close. 3rd generation sooner, and the months from August to December are usually filled with little else than OU Football.

I can relate with the gentleman that shot his television, I also live in Austin and my TV was in serious danger Saturday night. My day went as most OU game days do. I woke up early, played Boomer Sooner loud enough to wake up the neighbors. I sent the nurse I have been seeing off to pick up breakfast and the fixings for mimosas, so I could watch College Game Day.

This has been one of the greatest years ever to be a Sooner Fan. The talk of our team being one of the greatest of all time. I love that shit. I do not believe in God, but I do worship Bob Stoops.

I put on my special underwear, jeans, and red shirt that I put on every game. I am not usually superstitious, but the Sooners bring it out of me. I chose not to go to the Big 12 Championship Game, because in 2000 when we won the Nat'l Championship that was the only game I missed all year (I didn't want to fuck anything up).

7pm is WAY TOO late for a game of this magnitude. Against my will I watched out Basketball Team beat Michigan St. I don't usually watch basketball untill after football season.

Believe me when I tell you, the first time I ever even thought that we might lose the game was with 3 minutes left in the game. I truly believed we would find a way to win that game, no matter how horrible it looked.

But with 3 minutes to go...I had decided to pull my television out of the entertainment center. I didn't go peacefully, but there it sat in my living room floor. I had the kerosene out from Coleman Lantern. My plan was to stomp a hole in the TV and pour the kerosene in and do a dance around it.

I am too broke to buy a new TV...thankfully I realized this right before I killed my TV.

Anyway, all the arguments about who will beat who, and who should be playing who are moot. It is, what it is. I think the only time you can bitch about not playing for the Championship is if you win out and are undefeated. I would not have made a peep if we didn't make it to the championship this year. And actually, it feels a little cheapened. However, the arguments about a team that didn't win their conference winning the championship are stupid. In basketball, that happens frequently. We definitely need a tounament. I only hope this helps people see the light.

I'll be New Orleans for the Championship game.

Boomer Sooner!
