Once and awhile I try and remember my finnish.

I can count to 5, order beer, say hi and bye, and merry xmas.

Its not my fault, all you seemed to speak english. Even when I would end up in the seediest bar in Helsinki with the rejects of Finnish society, they all spoke english as well. I never could figure out why everything seemed to end in "ainen".

It sucks, I never got to get into the remote areas of Finland, I wanted to meet some hillbilly finns.

Nobody drinks harder than Finns, its fucking sick how much you people drink. One of the drunkest years of my life.
They sell beer in the school cafeteria at U of Helsinki. At orientation, they had a little seperate orientation to acclimate the Americans to drinking culture, I shit you not. I guess for many years past, every group of Americans that came over would get caught up and just spend the whole time partying like it was cancun. Which is ironic, as that is exactly what we ended up doing. Bars that close at 4am and open at 6 am? cmon.

Suomi rules, I miss it dearly.
