I like how it is utterly devoid of criticism and nothing but justification. That should be clue #1. I know if my father was killed I would just shrug it off. Esp someone who is the bestest Christian soldier daddy in the whole wide world. Valiant effort on behalf of the writer that produced it. I am sure the target audience will be sucked right in.
The letter should have read:
Dear President Bush,
Why did you kill my daddy? Where are the weapons of mass destruction you promised me? Where are the parades that Donald Rumsfeld promised the Iraqis would have in celebration? I thought they loved us. Please help me understand. I am now fatherless and my mom will soon be on public assistance as my dad barely made minimum wage in the army of the lord, and the death benefits are a joke. Lack of a father figure will have dire consequences, and not only will my mother suffer, but my brothers and sisters will be left at an economic disadvantage that will have a crippling effect on their development.
Thank you for protecting me. I feel safer already.
