I hate when I go into a members area I paid for and it’s loaded with upsells. Also I think if you’re not careful it takes them away from your site and seriously fucks up your retention. Video Secrets flirt4free is good but there are times when the content is great and other times its shit. If they would ever be consistent, especially with niche they would be even bigger.
What I’ve been doing and it’s working well is what I talked about last year and that is build a community that is interactive. Example:
www.othersex.com – I use it for redirects and cancels. It’s free, they pay nothing. I harvest their emails and send out newsletters. I give them just enough free stuff to keep them interested and added free personals.
I have all my affiliate programs there and promote my own sites and services.
