There was only one SEC vs. Big Ten game this year, Kentucky beat Indiana. Congrats, but I wouldn't go hanging your hat on that one.
Let's go back to last years bowl games, shall we?
There were only 3 SEC victories. The first was Mississippi beating Nebraska. The second was Auburn beating Penn State.
The third was because two SEC teams were playing EACH OTHER. Georgia beat Florida State.
So let's review the SEC's bowl game outcomes of 2002, shall we?

Georgia - Beat Florida State (another SEC team)

South Carolina - No bowl game
