The subject: NCAA Football

The question: Who has the better record in the Ohio State - Michigan
rivalry?

The answer: Neither. They are tied. The NCAA was formed in 1905. Since
1905, the Ohio State - Michigan series stands at 44-44-5.

In the category of NCAA football, the teams are also tied in National
Championships at seven each, since Fielding Yost's four titles (all shared)
came in 1901-1904. Before 1905 the field was 110 yds long and striped in a
checkerboard pattern, touchdowns were worth 5 points and field goals 4. A
team, after scoring a touchdown, retook possession of the ball on the
ensuing kickoff. So did the team that missed its attempt at a drop kick,
which was still a common play at the time. These rules made it considerably
easier for a team to keep possession of the ball away from their opponents,
running up the score and shutting out the opposition as Michigan did during
their '01-'04 run.

Use these facts to remind the Wolverines in your life, the next time they
boast of their dominance in the rivalry, that they truly are living in the
past.

GO BUCKS!! BEAT MICHIGAN!!
HAHAHAHA, poor, poor, little buckeye. I bet it took you all day to figure out which year to start at to come up with a 44-44-5 record! And how convenient that you are able to just wipe out the other games.

It doesn't really matter since apparently they don't require you to know how to count to attend OSU.

Since 1905 (let me help you little buckeye, we will use your logic and start with the game played on 10-20-06 and exclude the game that MICHIGAN won in 1905):

The record stands at: 50 wins for Michigan. 37 wins for OSU and 5 ties.

So very very very sad. And to think people are actually paying money to attend OSU.
