Yep, it's an excellent bike. Pity I barely use it...
The thing I find really strange is that a low impact exercise like riding a bike absolutely kills my knee, and walking seems to help it. Who would have thought? I started walking about three weeks ago and I have had absolutely no pain...
Got any recommendations on a good treadmill? I've heard that manual treadmills are better than motorized when it comes to calories burned, but the decks are really small on the manual treadmills. Nordic Track used to make a manual one (the 5000 series I think) and I would think that would be good... however I'm not sure how smooth the manual treadmills are.
I'd like to work up to walking an hour a day. What treadmill would you recommend? And if I get a motorized one, how many horses is adequate for that amount of time every day? My mom bought a cheap treadmill a while back, and of course the motor burned out really quick...
Any suggestions?

Voo...
Just a tip in case you haven't tried them yet... My mom spent few k on nice
treadmill few years ago but found out that using it made her physically
ill (nausea/motion sickness)... This didn't happen when she tried it out in
the store for a few minutes but rather when she had at home doing
actual workouts...
Not saying that it is common but is something to test out at a gym before
you pony up the dough for one of these!
Congrats on the 10lbs! Another low impact one is 'pool walking' (I'm sure
it has some fancy name but that's what I call it)... I go to pool at the gym
and just walk laps. Those floating 'water weights' are also great for
stretching out and resistance type workout (again, low impact)...
Port that Tunak Tunak vid to mp3 and beboop around your neighborhood...
lol...
