My return ticket from here cost me AUD$1900 which is about USD$1400... and you can't get much further away from Amsterdam than Australia.
That's a shame about the price, man. I guess Xmas/New Years is busy as hell.
I'll be in Amsterdam for next New Years Eve anyway... so it's all good.
