As far as that stupid government site.....don't you know that every prisoner who has been charged by the government either cooperates, goes to trial, or dies! The percentage of those who go to trial and fight the federal government is something like 5% or a very low figure. I'm sure sarettah will correct me if I'm too far off in the numbers.
Kevin Mitnick is the one who cooperated with the government. Mitnick is the one who caved in and sold out. By cooperating with the government, he made it impossible for his codefendant to go to trial. Mitnick is accusing everyone of cooperating when he is the one who turned yellow. I was on the phone with him and his attorneys almost every day. I heard the discusssions. What I didn't hear, Mitnick told me. Mitnick begged me to give information to his co-defendant and their attorney, Richard Sherman. My phone bills grew and grew because I would always give in and place those long distance calls for Mitnick.
Do you want something in writing, Miss Peaches? I will call the FBI first thing in the morning and see if they can help me. If they can't, then I will call Christopher Painter who was one of the federal prosecutors in the Mitnick case. Most of this information should be in the public records. I'm sure if they can, they will help me. Perhaps part of the Mitnick deal was that certain files would remain sealed. Sealed or unsealed, Mitnick cooperated BIG TIME!
