The only time I was in Montreal it was about 20 below zero when we got off the plane. We went through the airport and went out the doors to the rental car place and about passed out because it was so cold. I was only there for 2 days and was in St. Jean which is a suburb so I don't have any helpful tips other than dress warm. It's already snowed twice here and Montreal is 500 miles north of here.
