I think a quote of mine is applicable here. In 2002, when the Summer Internext came to the Diplomat for the first time, the community was up in arms that they would have us nasty, dirty pornographers there.
They quoted several people in newspaper articles saying that the industry was anti-family. I was interviewed by 3 local papers, The Sun Sentinel, Miami Herald and the Palm Beach Post.
Here's my quote from one of the articles:
"No one should be upset that the Diplomat is opening its doors to the profitable pornography business, he said.
''We're all nice people,'' he said. ``This isn't anti-family. We all have families we support by doing this, and we are providing a service that a large portion of the public wants.''
The writer changed my words. I didn't say profitable pornograhy business. It is actually our company policy [both Online Technologies and Smut Drs] when talking to the media to say Online Adult Entertainment Industry.
