I don't particularly care for Senator Kennedy - some of the reasons include things you've allueded to.

Whether you like it or not, Senator Kennedy represents the views of a substantial number of real live genuine Americans who are every bit as patriotic as you are.

The simple fact of the matter is that, in spite of all the hyperbole that the parrots of the right spew, the real haters today are on the right. All they seem to hate is America as it is today.
