I really don't have that much of an opinion overall about Rush as I
do not listen to him either... But I am a huge Tom Leykis fan and
he has been following and commenting on the story overall.
As I had posted previously the most interesting aspect to me is the
circumstances that ensued for Rush to have caused his own hearing
loss, as outlined in that timeline I posted the link to.
I lke many on this board am Libertarian (sp?) in my views on legalizing
drugs, and at the same time though *not* spending any public money
on "rehab" which many times doesn't work. Personal responsiblity
in this country is harder and harder to find, thanks to the litigeous
society we've become...
I have done some *incredibly* stupid things in the last few years,
and there are aspects that it would be nice to try and sue for some
losses... but I do take full responsiblity for my own actions, and will
not go that route. I'll STFU now... as Confucy has noted, I get too
serious sometimes.
