I am not saying anyone is right or wrong. i am saying that the argument itself that "its a part of history...blah blah blah" is just as weak and silly as any other argument.

I still don't see how display of a flag during a half time show pisses so many people off...we're talking about context. It wan't like a bunch of neo-Nazis were out seig heiling the flag and singing "These Boots Were Made For Stomping", it was part of a display of warring nations of WWII. Now, if there was a man dressed as Hitler, that may have been poor taste.
Actually, the teacher who put this together should be fired for trying to something educational during a football field, because last thing we want associated with football is education....what was he thinking?
