I was thinking the same thing... the new retro mustangs coming out in 2005 are hot.
I know they have been working on the taking old fastback Mustangs and pimping them out Eleanor style.

I am not sure what Carroll is doing, it appears that he is taking a less hands on approach and have turned things over to other people.
But the 3 models he has here are pretty nice
http://www.sandersonsales.com/eleanor.html if they would do this to the 2005's I would definately want to buy one!
Here is the throw backs they are making... they call it the GT500 E
Thing is, its still not an orignal GT500.... I have a 1968 GT 500 KR which I have pimped out. Added many of the things they have - including disk breaks, custom exhaust, bigger tires/wheels, new suspension system. All of this is needed to make the car safe. 500 HP in a 1968 car is DANGEROUS....
Here is mine, all I have to do is get a new paint job on it.... going with black, but thinking silver stripes would be nice!
